The Devereux Boutique Hotel Auckland, Auckland

I had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel, where each room is uniquely designed and filled with character. The breakfast options were truly gourmet and very reasonably priced. The location is super convenient, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. However, I did notice that some areas in the hotel could use some updating, and parking can be a bit limited, especially during busy times.

The room was large and quirky with a fantastic spa bath, but I was disappointed to find unclean bedding. The hotel's furniture shows its age, and the warning signage felt over the top. I might consider staying again for the unique experience, but I hope for better attention to cleanliness next time.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming old villa, which has been beautifully upgraded while still retaining its historical charm.
